Qualifications & Experience

• Current, active Physical Therapist license in South Carolina (SC PT License required)
• Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings, ideally in itinerant or multi-site roles
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy interventions for pediatric/young populations
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage a varied caseload across multiple campuses
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Passion for supporting children with diverse physical needs in school environments

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through high school
• Travel to multiple school sites according to a weekly schedule
• Carry out thorough evaluations, write evidence-based treatment plans, and document progress according to school and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other service providers to integrate therapy into each student’s educational plan
• Provide training, consultation, and support to school staff, ensuring continuity of care
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
