Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Oregon Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, families, and other therapists
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students as specified in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct thorough evaluations, assess student needs, and participate in eligibility determination meetings
• Develop treatment plans that support students’ physical development and access to their educational environment
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic interventions into daily routines
• Maintain up-to-date records and progress notes in compliance with school and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress to teams and families
• Offer guidance and training to school personnel regarding adaptive equipment, mobility, and positioning
