What You’ll Bring:
- Current Washington State Physical Therapist license, or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Experience working within a school setting or interest in school-based therapy
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25-30 students, serving the full district (K-12)
- Commitment to onsite services (no virtual/remote options)
- Completed fingerprinting through OSPI or willingness to get fingerprinted per state requirements
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy interventions for students as identified in their IEPs
- Assess, document, and monitor student progress, adjusting treatment plans to achieve established goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student participation and access in the educational environment
- Provide training, support, and consultation to school staff regarding safe physical access and mobility strategies
- Travel between school sites within the district as needed
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and work cohesively with the multidisciplinary team
