A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist interested in supporting K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. Assigned as part of a dedicated therapy team, you’ll assist students across multiple schools, providing both direct intervention and consultative services. Start dates are flexible and immediate placement is possible, with the potential for this assignment to extend through the current school year, subject to vacancy duration.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Physical Therapy licensure required
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred (not mandatory)
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a therapy team (PTs and PTAs)
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and educational colleagues
• Adaptable to itinerant service model, providing support across 2-3 campuses each day
• Capable of managing documentation and multiple caseloads

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse population of K-12 and some Pre-K students
• Conduct assessments, provide individualized interventions, and participate in IEP development
• Work closely with educational staff to integrate therapy goals into students’ academic environments
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication for service tracking
• Uphold all district onboarding and credentialing requirements
