This is a contract opportunity for either one full-time physical therapist or multiple part-time professionals to collaborate in delivering both direct and indirect services across several campuses. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid Physical Therapy license in Florida (FL Lic.)
- Experience in school-based settings highly preferred, though not required
- Strong ability to travel between assigned schools in an itinerant role
- Comfortable servicing a diverse K-12 (including Pre-K) student population
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Up-to-date with compliance standards and credentialing requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students at different schools (up to 35 campuses shared among the therapy team)
- Manage a balanced caseload (approximately 94 students divided among team members)
- Provide both direct and consultative services to support students’ educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, other therapists, and families to develop and follow IEPs
- Maintain necessary documentation, timesheets, and follow onboarding procedures per district requirements
- Adhere to district and procedural guidelines, ensuring timely credentialing and onboarding completion
