An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in telehealth services for school-aged students. This summer contract position offers the chance to provide virtual therapy sessions to a homebound student, promoting mobility and physical development in a school setting.
Location: Barnesville, GA (Virtual/Remote)
Contract Length: June 1st – July 16th
Schedule: Three 15-minute sessions per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services remotely to a homebound student through telehealth platforms
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the student's needs
- Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to support student progress and adjust therapy interventions as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies and professional standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy
- Proficient in providing telehealth services and comfortable with virtual communication platforms
- Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles and interventions
- Ability to engage and motivate young students in a virtual environment
