Online Physical Therapist | South Carolina

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in school-based telehealth and in-person services. This role supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade across multiple school sites in Bennettsville, SC. The position offers a combination of onsite and virtual care coordination and supervision responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students in-person at school locations
• Deliver telehealth services as needed, maintaining compliance with best practices and state regulations
• Supervise a licensed PTA to support therapy services during telehealth sessions
• Complete required documentation and paperwork related to student care during telehealth hours
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and accommodations
• Ensure all services adhere to licensing and district standards

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Physical Therapy license
• Experience delivering physical therapy services in school settings
• Knowledge of telehealth delivery and supervisory protocols for PTAs in virtual environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills for managing onsite and telehealth caseload
• Ability to work onsite five days per week with additional telehealth supervision hours

Work Schedule:

• 37.5 hours per week onsite providing direct therapy
• 20 hours per week telehealth supervision and related paperwork
