Remote School Physical Therapist - Florida

A specialized physical therapy opportunity in the educational setting is available focusing on telehealth and in-school services. This contract position requires a licensed and credentialed physical therapist ready to deliver high-quality care across several charter schools in South Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services utilizing both telehealth platforms and in-person sessions within school environments.
• Manage caseloads independently across multiple locations with scheduled weekly or monthly time allocations.
• Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to support students' physical development and functional abilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with therapy standards and regulations.
• Utilize VOCO services as needed; candidate must be credentialed with closed low 40s for billing purposes.

Time Commitments by Location:

• Bonita Springs Charter School (Lee County): 1 hour per week
• Duval Charter School, Flagler Center St. Augustine: 20 minutes per week
• Duval Charter Schools, Westside St. Augustine: 60 minutes per week
• Creekside Charter: 30 minutes per week
• G Star School of the Arts, Palm Beach: 30 minutes per month
• Renaissance Charter at West Palm: 30 minutes per week
• Renaissance Charter at Tradition in Port St. Lucie: 30 minutes per week

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license and credentials for Florida practice.
• Experience delivering physical therapy in school settings and through telehealth.
• Ability to manage time effectively across multiple locations.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with educators and families.
• Familiarity with VOCO and ability to operate within required billing frameworks.
