Per Diem Remote Physical Therapist in AL

A Physical Therapist with expertise in telehealth and school-based services is needed for a per diem opportunity in Pine Hill, AL. This role involves providing physical therapy support to two students, one in pre-kindergarten and one in high school, through telehealth and occasional in-person visits.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
• Conduct sessions via telehealth platforms as well as on-site visits to the school as required.
• Collaborate with educational staff to support students’ physical development and participation in school activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress notes.
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to suit the unique requirements of pre-kindergarten and high school students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
• Proficiency in delivering physical therapy via telehealth platforms.
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and physical therapy interventions for children ranging from early childhood to adolescence.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with students, families, and educational staff.
• Ability to work PRN/per diem with flexibility to accommodate the needs of two students on an as-needed basis.
