Physical Therapist - School Setting in Thomaston, GA

A full-time or part-time Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is needed to support a K-12 caseload in a school setting located in Thomaston, GA. This contracted position is available for the current school year (CSY) and offers the chance to work with a diverse student population across kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Experience working in educational settings preferred
• Ability to manage a varied caseload covering K-12 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families
• Flexibility to work full or part-time hours as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and consultative services to students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student goals
• Document progress and maintain compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Attend meetings and participate in team discussions as required
