Physical Therapist - School Setting in Torrance, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience providing physical therapy services in a school, pediatric, or similar setting preferred
• Ability to assess and develop individualized therapy plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
• Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
• Commitment to the full school year

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and establish appropriate intervention goals
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment programs for students based on their unique needs
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation requirements are met in an educational setting
