From November 16 to December 22, you will work two days a week (totaling 13 hours), partnering closely with educators and families to help young learners reach their full physical potential. What we’re looking for:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Connecticut
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of childhood development and therapeutic approaches for K-5 students
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Organizational skills to manage a flexible, part-time schedule

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough student assessments and craft individualized therapy objectives
• Deliver engaging therapeutic interventions tailored to elementary-aged children
• Document progress, maintain required records, and communicate updates to the school team and parents
• Provide strategies and support for teachers to help integrate therapeutic recommendations into daily classroom activities
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging environment that supports each student’s unique strengths
