This onsite, itinerant opportunity is perfect for a dedicated PT professional eager to work within a dynamic school environment from July 27, 2026, through May 24, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Physical Therapy licensure in South Carolina (SC PT License required)
  • Experience or interest in school-based settings, particularly with K-12 populations
  • Ability to adapt to an itinerant schedule, traveling between multiple school sites
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, students, and families
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support student success
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to students across a K-12 caseload at several onsite locations
  • Assess, plan, and deliver interventions to support students’ physical development and maximize their participation in the educational setting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help tailor educational accommodations and recommendations
  • Maintain detailed, compliant records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Communicate progress to parents and staff and support school teams in best practices for inclusive participation
  • Ensure all practices align with professional standards and district policies
