Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Physical Therapy licensure in South Carolina (SC PT License required)
- Experience or interest in school-based settings, particularly with K-12 populations
- Ability to adapt to an itinerant schedule, traveling between multiple school sites
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, students, and families
- Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support student success
- Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students across a K-12 caseload at several onsite locations
- Assess, plan, and deliver interventions to support students’ physical development and maximize their participation in the educational setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help tailor educational accommodations and recommendations
- Maintain detailed, compliant records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Communicate progress to parents and staff and support school teams in best practices for inclusive participation
- Ensure all practices align with professional standards and district policies
