Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Solid understanding of school-aged physical therapy interventions and best practices
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Willingness to adapt to various school environments and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ physical development and motor skills
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment programs according to students’ needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress and participation in school activities
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and student progress in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Consult with staff on adaptive strategies, equipment, and classroom modifications to maximize student access
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
