School-Based Physical Therapist - Vail, Arizona

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience delivering PT services in schools preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Understanding of IEPs and the documentation process for school-based therapy
• Ability to manage caseloads while adapting to dynamic school environments
• Commitment to best practices and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ motor skills and functional abilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions both individually and in groups
• Document progress and communicate regularly with staff, families, and service coordinators
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to cross-disciplinary planning
• Support classroom staff with strategies to integrate therapy recommendations into daily routines
