Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students near Van Nuys, CA as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity is full-time, offering 30 hours per week and runs through June 10, 2026, with direct and indirect services pay. You’ll work exclusively within your scheduled hours, with no additional school duties like bus or parent pickup required. Travel therapists are also eligible for stipends, helping you make the most of your contract assignment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist license
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and documentation for a school setting
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators and families
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload across K-12 students
  • Flexibility to support students with varying physical abilities and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services onsite to K-12 students
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide detailed progress reporting
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Adapt services to meet the unique physical and developmental needs of each student
