School-Based Physical Therapist - Van Nuys, CA

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid California Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric clients preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and school staff
• Ability to design and implement individualized physical therapy interventions
• Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students per Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Keep accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed—without extra district assignment requirements
