School-Based Physical Therapist - Van Nuys, California

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• Previous experience with school-aged populations, ideally in an educational setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility in working with diverse student needs across K-12
• A collaborative approach to teaming with educators, families, and staff

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ functional needs and progress
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough documentation of services rendered and progress toward goals
• Provide consultation and training to school staff and parents as needed
• Engage in scheduled work only, with no additional duties such as bus or pickup supervision
