Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
• Prior experience working in schools and understanding of PT’s role in an educational context
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to tailor services accordingly
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized physical therapy sessions with a designated student twice each month, 30 minutes per session
• Evaluate the student’s physical needs related to educational outcomes and develop appropriate goals
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support the student’s participation in school activities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in relevant meetings and communicate progress or needs to the educational team as needed
