  • Demonstrated ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
  • Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in school physical therapy

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assess students to determine functional mobility, gross motor skills, and therapeutic needs within the school context
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy, consultative support, and recommendations for classroom adaptations
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Educate staff and families on supportive techniques to encourage ongoing student development
  • Utilize creative, engaging therapeutic approaches to promote independence and participation in the school setting
