Physical Therapist - School Setting in Wallace, SC

Make a genuine impact by supporting students from kindergarten through high school as a skilled Physical Therapist in a dynamic educational setting. This rewarding contract opportunity encompasses both onsite and virtual components, offering a unique blend of face-to-face interactions and digital flexibility. The position will serve multiple school sites with an immediate start date, continuing through late May, 2027.

What you’ll bring:

• Current South Carolina Physical Therapy license (required)
• Experience delivering PT services within a K-12 environment is a plus
• Confidence in providing mentorship/supervision to a licensed PTA for VOCO (virtual) services
• Comfort managing a caseload across multiple schools and diverse student needs
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to in-person and virtual service delivery models

Daily contributions include:

• Delivering direct therapy and consultative services onsite to K-12 students
• Creating and implementing individualized PT interventions and collaborative care plans
• Supervising and guiding a licensed PTA as part of the VOCO delivery system
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, maintaining reports and documentation for student progress
• Advocating for and educating staff, families, and students about PT objectives and techniques

Enjoy a schedule that balances 37.5 onsite hours and 20 VOCO hours per week (dedicated to supervision and paperwork). This split allows for hands-on therapeutic work as well as the flexibility that comes with supervising and supporting virtual services for students.
