School-Based Physical Therapist - Wapato, Washington

Your Qualifications:

• Current, active Physical Therapist license
• Previous school-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred
• Strong understanding of educational settings and IEP processes
• Skilled in adapting therapy approaches to individual student needs
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services for one student, totaling 45 minutes per month
• Conduct three 15-minute, individualized sessions each month
• Assess, plan, and deliver therapy according to the student’s IEP, addressing mobility and functional challenges
• Work collaboratively with school staff and families for seamless integration into the educational routine
• Document progress and maintain compliance with all school and state guidelines
• Offer recommendations for adaptive equipment or modifications as needed
