Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, faculty, and families
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapeutic interventions in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support students in achieving their functional mobility and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to design appropriate accommodations and modifications
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatments, and progress notes
- Communicate effectively with staff and families to ensure alignment on student care and progress
