Physical Therapist - School Setting in Wappingers Falls, NY

In this role, you will:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students with IEP-mandated needs
• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and reevaluations
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other service providers
• Attend and participate in CSE (Committee on Special Education) meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress reports
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages each student's success

To excel in this position, candidates should have:

• Current PT or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) certification
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment (preferred)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to supporting the diverse needs of students
