This contract opportunity offers a flexible schedule, providing four hours per week of service either in-person or through collaboration with school staff. Located near Warren, ME, this rewarding role spans the upcoming summer program (July 7, 2026, through July 30, 2026) as well as the full 2026-2027 academic year (August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027). This position offers a competitive hourly pay between $60-$65.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Maine
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in grades K-8
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, staff, and families
  • Capacity to organize and maintain proper documentation and progress reports
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for students of diverse capabilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student care
  • Participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions and recommendations
  • Offer guidance on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
