School-Based Physical Therapist - Warren, Michigan

Embark on a rewarding contract role providing school-based physical therapy services, working onsite with students from kindergarten through age 26 in a center-based program designed for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities. This full-time position runs from ASAP through June 10, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week. You'll contribute vital support to students, collaborating with educational teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that foster growth and independence.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Michigan Physical Therapist license (must provide a screenshot with application)
• Prior experience providing physical therapy in a school setting
• Comfortable working with a center-based program and students with a range of disabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Demonstrated professionalism and adaptability in dynamic environments
• Must be available for onsite work; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available
• Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) are not considered for this opportunity

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to create tailored physical therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy services for K-age 26 students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
