Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Connecticut.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational environments.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and the ability to develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Strong collaboration skills for working closely with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and family members.
- Commitment to compassionate, student-centered care.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between two locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and state regulations.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress reports, and communications.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing supportive educational environments.
- Travel between two designated school sites as assigned during the school year.
