This contract-based opportunity involves working full-time, supporting multiple school sites for a diverse student population. You will collaborate closely with educators and support staff to promote the best possible student outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • Previous experience, preferably in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings and foster positive relationships with students and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs, 504 Plans, and educational goals
  • Travel between two school locations during the week
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate records
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy recommendations into classroom routines
  • Support student participation in academic and extracurricular activities by promoting mobility and functional independence
  • Stay current with best practices and comply with legal, ethical, and professional standards
