School-Based Physical Therapist - Waterbury, CT

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Connecticut.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational environments.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and the ability to develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Strong collaboration skills for working closely with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and family members.

• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between two locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and state regulations.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress reports, and communications.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing supportive educational environments.
• Travel between two designated school sites as assigned during the school year.
