This temporary contract position offers an opportunity for a Physical Therapist to provide onsite services during the Extended School Year (ESY) session within a school setting. Working Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, this role supports students from kindergarten through age 22.
Location:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and physical therapy services tailored to students’ educational goals.
- Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences when required.
- Maintain compliance with district guidelines and state licensure requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current New York State Physical Therapist license (mandatory for application).
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of diverse students across K-22.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
- Contract dates: July 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
