Physical Therapist - School Setting in Webster, NY

This temporary contract position offers an opportunity for a Physical Therapist to provide onsite services during the Extended School Year (ESY) session within a school setting. Working Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, this role supports students from kindergarten through age 22.

Location:

• Rochester, New York

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions and physical therapy services tailored to students’ educational goals.
• Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and parent conferences when required.
• Maintain compliance with district guidelines and state licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Physical Therapist license (mandatory for application).
• Experience working in school environments preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload of diverse students across K-22.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
• Contract dates: July 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
