Skills & Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in healthcare, ideally within a school-based or pediatric setting
- Ability to provide therapy to a medically fragile, bed-bound student
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred (however, non-bilingual candidates are also encouraged to apply; interpretation support may be arranged)
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to continuity of care over multiple years
- Clear communicator and collaborative team member
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services in accordance with the student’s IEP goals and medical needs
- Coordinate care with occupational and speech therapists for a comprehensive approach
- Communicate effectively with the student’s parents, therapists, and school staff
- Adapt therapy strategies for a home-based, bed-bound setting
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate in progress reviews
