Physical Therapist - School Setting in West Chester, PA

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing physical therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population in an onsite, urban school setting near West Chester, PA. This full-time contract position offers 35 hours per week working with a manageable caseload primarily composed of students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual disabilities (ID). You'll make a direct impact supporting students with individualized needs in a collaborative, caring environment.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Active Physical Therapy license/certification in Pennsylvania
• Proven background delivering PT in school settings, especially with ASD and ID populations
• Experience working in urban educational environments
• Willingness to obtain required Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
• Comfortable supporting a small caseload and working with low incidental classrooms
• Ability to provide licensure documentation during the hiring process
• Availability for an interview via Zoom

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct PT services to K-12 students as outlined in their individual education plans (IEPs)
• Develop, implement, and track tailored interventions and progress reports
• Collaborate with special education staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for effective student support
• Maintain meticulous documentation and compliance with district and state standards

Assignment Details:

• Full-time contract: 35 hours per week, 1 opening
• Caseload size is intentionally kept small for focused impact
• Assignment expected to run through June 10, 2027
• Ongoing onsite presence required
