School-Based Physical Therapist - West Chester, PA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Physical Therapy license/certification in Pennsylvania.
• School-based experience required; familiarity with K-12 settings is essential.
• Comfortable addressing the needs of students in an urban educational environment.
• Experience with ASD and ID populations preferred.
• Willing and able to obtain Pennsylvania school clearances as required.
• Open to disclosing the district name to candidates during the process.
• Ready and able to interview virtually via Zoom.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated therapeutic services to a small, manageable caseload, ensuring individualized attention.
• Work onsite in collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student access and functionality in school settings.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to diverse learning needs and target progress toward IEP goals.
• Engage proactively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize support for students.
• Adapt and adjust interventions for low incidental classroom settings as needed.
