School-Based Physical Therapist - West Chester, PA

Step into a fulfilling role as a Physical Therapist providing meaningful support to students in grades K-8. This contract opportunity, located near West Chester, PA, is designed for a dedicated professional who enjoys making a direct impact on children’s educational journeys. Work with a small, manageable caseload of seven students, delivering the compensatory services they need in a supportive school setting.

This part-time role offers 30 hours per week during convenient school hours, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Start as soon as possible and use your expertise to enhance the lives of students in a collaborative learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania.
• Experience providing school-based PT services, preferably within K-8 populations.
• Ability to deliver individualized therapy services in accordance with student IEPs.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff.
• Organizational skills for maintaining detailed documentation and session notes.
• Previous work with compensatory service caseloads is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring compensatory PT services.
• Conduct both one-on-one and small group therapy sessions.
• Monitor, document, and report student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support each student’s goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
• Help foster an inclusive classroom environment by recommending appropriate modifications and adaptations.
