School Physical Therapist | West Hartford, Connecticut

This full-time position serves students across a dynamic district from now through June 2027, with a schedule of 32 to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You’ll work in person across a districtwide caseload, empowering students of all ages to reach their fullest potential through specialized intervention and collaborative care.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure for Connecticut
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Comfort with providing services to a diverse K-12 population
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Enthusiasm for fostering student growth and participation in school life

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services in alignment with IEP goals

• Collaborate closely with teaching staff, families, and other service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide clear, concise progress reports
• Serve as a resource for physical access, classroom adaptations, and staff training
