Physical Therapist - School Setting in West Jordan, UT

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled physical therapist to provide vital assessment services in a school setting near West Jordan, UT. In this role, you will conduct a one-time, comprehensive evaluation for both occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT) needs on two students. Following the assessment, ongoing weekly services may be offered based on the results, with the possibility of supporting one or two students as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current license to practice Physical Therapy
• Experience in educational or school-based physical therapy preferred
• Understanding of pediatric therapy best practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of performing both PT and coordinating with OT assessments

Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough initial assessments on two students, addressing both PT and OT needs
• Document findings and develop recommendations for ongoing therapy or additional services
• Communicate clearly with school staff, families, and other professionals
• Provide weekly therapy sessions for one or two students if assessment results indicate continued services
• Set and track goals for student progress and adjust plans as needed
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and documentation standards
