Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapy license for Utah (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school or educational settings
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
- Reliable, self-motivated, and organized
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individualized PT interventions for students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ physical development and access to the curriculum
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting and monitoring measurable goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Educate teachers and families about strategies and accommodations for student success
- Travel between school sites as necessary
