Physical Therapist - School Setting in West Jordan, UT

Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license for Utah (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school or educational settings
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
• Reliable, self-motivated, and organized

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individualized PT interventions for students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ physical development and access to the curriculum
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting and monitoring measurable goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations
• Educate teachers and families about strategies and accommodations for student success
• Travel between school sites as necessary
