Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to starting)
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to address students’ gross motor and physical needs within the educational setting
- Provide direct therapy services to students, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other related service providers to integrate therapy goals into students’ daily routines
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student accommodations and supports
- Promote a positive, inclusive environment that fosters students’ independence and participation
