School-Based Physical Therapist - West Valley City, Utah

Support students’ progress and success as a contract Physical Therapist in a vibrant school-based setting near West Valley City, UT. Work alongside educators and families to promote students’ physical development, mobility, and independence throughout the academic calendar.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) in Utah
• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of IEP process and ability to write and implement appropriate therapy goals
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals within students’ daily routines
• Maintain timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and access to curriculum
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student needs
