School Physical Therapist | Westerville, Ohio

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-age students during a physical therapy leave coverage in a vibrant school community near Westerville, OH. This assignment runs from mid-December through mid-March, with some flexibility around the exact dates due to a maternity leave. You’ll have the unique chance to collaborate with the current PT for a smooth transition, including approximately one week of onboarding prior to coverage and a week for handoff afterward.

In this role, you'll work Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, serving students across five elementary buildings. You’ll contribute to students’ growth and development by providing high-quality therapeutic interventions in an engaging educational setting.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Ohio
• Strong pediatric experience, preferably within a school setting
• Ability to adapt interventions for elementary-aged students
• Capable of splitting time efficiently across multiple locations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with school staff and families
• Flexibility and reliability to meet the demands of a mid-year leave coverage

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct PT services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized therapy plans
• Consult with teachers and parents to support students’ physical development and access to the curriculum
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports
• Participate in team meetings as needed for student support and case collaboration
