Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state
- Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for children
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to document progress and adapt interventions to meet student needs
- Committed to fostering independence and mobility for school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to a small caseload of 7-9 students
- Assess student needs and develop personalized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to support student goals
- Maintain thorough and accurate records while tracking student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt techniques and stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy
