Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state
  • Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for children
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to document progress and adapt interventions to meet student needs
  • Committed to fostering independence and mobility for school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to a small caseload of 7-9 students
  • Assess student needs and develop personalized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records while tracking student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Adapt techniques and stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy
