Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Understanding of IEPs and experience implementing therapy within an educational context
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
  • Dedication to fostering student growth, independence, and participation in school activities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services according to students’ individualized education plans
  • Conduct assessments and recommend therapeutic interventions tailored to each student’s needs
  • Develop goals and progress reports in alignment with school district policies
  • Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional and ethical standards
