Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Physical Therapy license and credentials required to practice in North Carolina
- Demonstrated experience working in schools, with a solid grasp of PT techniques relevant to educational settings
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention plans for students aged Pre-K through high school
- Collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills to work alongside teachers, parents, and school teams
- Adaptable, solution-oriented, and committed to fostering student independence and growth
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine students' needs and set measurable, achievable therapy goals
- Design and execute evidence-based therapy plans that align with educational goals and IEP requirements
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain detailed documentation on student outcomes
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding mobility, adaptive equipment, and classroom modifications
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
