School-Based Physical Therapist - Windsor, CA

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid California Physical Therapist license in good standing
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and school-based documentation
• Ability to effectively evaluate and treat students with diverse abilities
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and staff
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted physical therapy services two hours per month, tailored to meet students’ IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Develop and implement creative, individualized interventions to encourage student growth and participation in school activities
• Provide recommendations for classroom modifications or adaptive equipment
• Serve as a resource to school staff and families, sharing strategies to optimize student mobility and participation
