Step into a rewarding contract opportunity delivering physical therapy services part-time for students ages 6 to 21, spanning two engaging school sites. As a key member of a dedicated educational team, you will work 25 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year, with the option to extend into the summer program if extended school year (ESY) participation interests you.

This position is tailored for physical therapists with school-based experience who are passionate about supporting students in a behaviorally focused educational environment grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Connecticut
  • Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with ABA principles and strong behavioral programs
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills
  • Flexible and organized, able to effectively manage a caseload across two sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with special educators, occupational therapists, and behavior analysts in implementing student IEPs
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams by providing input for functional, behavioral, and developmental goals
  • Document treatment, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Engage in consultation and training sessions with school staff and families to support carryover of strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed, sharing expert recommendations and progress updates
  • Travel between Windsor and Bloomfield sites as required
