Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Vermont Physical Therapist License required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong new graduates considered
- Ability to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability in working with diverse student populations and age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ motor skills and develop tailored treatment plans
- Deliver physical therapy services to support students’ educational access and participation
- Consult with teachers, school teams, and families to integrate therapy goals
- Document services and progress in accordance with policies and procedures
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
- Address both elementary and high school caseloads, adapting approach for each group
