School-Based Physical Therapist - Windsor, VT

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Vermont Physical Therapist License required
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong new graduates considered
• Ability to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability in working with diverse student populations and age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ motor skills and develop tailored treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy services to support students’ educational access and participation
• Consult with teachers, school teams, and families to integrate therapy goals
• Document services and progress in accordance with policies and procedures
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
• Address both elementary and high school caseloads, adapting approach for each group
