School-Based Physical Therapist - Winsted, Connecticut

What You’ll Need:

• Active physical therapist license in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and problem-solving abilities to serve a diverse K-12 student population
• Commitment to provide in-person therapy; remote or telehealth candidates will not be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students across multiple schools within the district
• Evaluate, plan, and implement evidence-based interventions to address motor function, mobility, and adaptive needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service providers to integrate therapeutic strategies into students’ daily routines
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Engage with families to support student success and promote carryover of goals
