School-Based Physical Therapist - Winston-Salem, North Carolina

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide physical therapy services within a K-12 school setting in Winston-Salem, NC. The role is a contract assignment for the current school year (CSY), supporting students from PreK through 12th grade. The schedule consists of 30-32 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to the educational needs of students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document student progress in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to support student goals.
• Adapt therapy approaches to suit a diverse student population across multiple grade levels.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant experience in pediatric and school-based settings.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles applicable to PreK-12 education.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
