Physical Therapist - School Setting in Winter Garden, FL

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Physical Therapist within a dynamic school environment near Winter Garden, FL. Work begins August 3, 2026 and concludes May 28, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar and offering a consistent weekday schedule.

Full-time and part-time arrangements are both available—1 full-time Physical Therapist or 2-3 part-time professionals will provide direct and indirect therapy services across multiple schools, with caseloads shared among another experienced PT and PTA. Typical workdays run from 7:30am to 4:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and you'll usually visit 2 or 3 schools per day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida Physical Therapy license required
• School-based experience is highly preferred; all motivated applicants will be considered
• Comfortable working onsite and traveling between multiple schools
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to engage a range of student abilities and ages (K-12, including Pre-K)
• Prepared to complete district-specific credentialing and onboarding requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services as part of an itinerant team
• Provide both direct therapy and consultative support within IEP teams
• Manage a diverse caseload collaboratively, ensuring compliance with documentation and timelines
• Partner with staff, families, and other therapists to support student goals
• Participate in required onboarding and maintain appropriate district records
