Physical Therapist - School Setting in Winter Garden, FL

What you will need:

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 populations (including Pre-K)
• Willingness to travel between assigned schools each day (itinerant schedule, serving 2-3 schools per day)
• Ability to collaborate with fellow PTs and PTAs to achieve positive outcomes
• Detail-oriented approach to both direct and indirect student services
• Timely completion of onboarding and credentialing required by the school district

You’ll be responsible for:

• Providing physical therapy assessment and interventions for a diverse caseload of approximately 94 students (caseload divided among the team)
• Developing, implementing, and tracking individualized treatment plans and progress
• Consulting with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
• Collaborating in meetings and contributing to IEP planning
• Adhering to district procedures and timely documentation

This contract position offers a consistent daytime schedule (7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, 30-minute unpaid lunch) through December 2026, with possible extension into May 2027, depending on district need.
