School-Based Physical Therapist - Winter Garden, Florida

Step into a rewarding contract position as a Physical Therapist supporting K-12 students, including some Pre-K, in a dynamic school district near Winter Garden, FL. You'll play a vital role in empowering young learners by providing both direct and indirect physical therapy services across multiple campuses. This role is available for either one full-time provider or can be split among two to three part-time professionals—offering ultimate flexibility for your work-life balance.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active Physical Therapist License (Florida)
• Preferred: Previous school-based PT experience (highly valued, but not required)
• Open to both new graduates and seasoned providers with a passion for supporting children
• Comfort with itinerant service delivery, visiting multiple site locations
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
• Collaborate closely with another PT and a PTA to ensure comprehensive care for approximately 94 students
• Manage a rotating schedule covering 2-3 schools daily, serving a total of 35 schools collectively
• Conduct student assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Provide both direct therapy and consultative support for teachers and staff
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per district and compliance requirements
• Engage in onboarding and credentialing processes as required by the district
