A rewarding opportunity awaits a passionate Physical Therapist eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. A full-time contract position is available for the 2026/2027 school year, supporting elementary and high school caseloads. Work collaboratively as part of a school-based team and help students reach their full potential through specialized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with active credentials
  • Prior experience in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong understanding of best practices in pediatric physical therapy
  • Ability to develop individualized education and therapy plans
  • Clear communication skills with students, families, and staff
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads, schedules, and required documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to elementary and high school students in accordance with IEPs and assessment findings
  • Conduct evaluations to determine students’ physical development needs within the educational environment
  • Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and parents to support student progress and participation
  • Document and maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and required reports
  • Attend and provide input during IEP meetings and team conferences
  • Educate and assist school staff on preventive strategies to promote student mobility and safety
