A full-time contract position is available for the 2026/2027 school year, supporting elementary and high school caseloads. Work collaboratively as part of a school-based team and help students reach their full potential through specialized therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with active credentials
- Prior experience in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of best practices in pediatric physical therapy
- Ability to develop individualized education and therapy plans
- Clear communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads, schedules, and required documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary and high school students in accordance with IEPs and assessment findings
- Conduct evaluations to determine students’ physical development needs within the educational environment
- Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and parents to support student progress and participation
- Document and maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and required reports
- Attend and provide input during IEP meetings and team conferences
- Educate and assist school staff on preventive strategies to promote student mobility and safety
