Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
- Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Proven ability in report writing and case documentation
- Collaborative and adaptable; eager to work with educators, families, and allied specialists
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering direct and consultative physical therapy services to students according to IEP requirements
- Evaluating student needs and regularly updating progress through clear, comprehensive documentation
- Crafting and monitoring IEP goals that support each student’s unique abilities and challenges
- Writing detailed, timely reports to communicate student progress and ongoing needs to the multidisciplinary team
- Consulting and collaborating with teachers, special educators, and families to promote inclusive participation in all school activities
- Participating in team meetings as the PT representative, offering insight and recommendations regarding student mobility and access
