Requirements & Preferred Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Washington State
  • Experience working in school-based settings, with an understanding of IEP documentation and student progress tracking
  • Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and parents
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Previous experience in similar roles (school-based, pediatric, or healthcare PT) highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the student’s needs
  • Conduct three 15-minute therapy sessions per month directly with the student
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote mobility, function, and participation within the school environment
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the educational team for best student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful insights regarding student progress
