Requirements & Preferred Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Washington State
- Experience working in school-based settings, with an understanding of IEP documentation and student progress tracking
- Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and parents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Previous experience in similar roles (school-based, pediatric, or healthcare PT) highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the student’s needs
- Conduct three 15-minute therapy sessions per month directly with the student
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote mobility, function, and participation within the school environment
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the educational team for best student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful insights regarding student progress
