Make a difference supporting students’ growth as a contract physical therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) is available onsite only, serving a diverse K-12 population district-wide. Your expertise will impact caseloads of approximately 25–30 students, helping them achieve better outcomes in a supportive, collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid Washington PT license, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one before start date
  • WA OSPI fingerprint clearance, or willingness to complete the fingerprinting process
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Ability to work exclusively onsite throughout the full school year (no virtual work)
  • Skilled in assessment, IEP development, and therapy planning for students K-12
  • Adaptability to work with varied caseloads across multiple schools
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
  • Deliver direct PT services and consultation per IEPs for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and related service personnel
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all assessments, progress notes, and treatment delivered
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented district culture focused on student achievement
