You'll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve optimal physical function and participate fully in their educational experience.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist license in Michigan (MI)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, and carry out effective therapy interventions
• Strong communication skills to work with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the school environment
• Commitment to maintaining documentation in line with state and school policies

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds
• Develop and implement IEP-based goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates to families and school personnel
• Adapt interventions and equipment to the unique needs of each student
• Serve as a resource for staff regarding physical development, accessibility, and best practices
• Participate in meetings and consultations as required
