Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license, with eligibility to practice in Minnesota
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school populations is highly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and their integration with therapy goals
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Ability to adapt therapy sessions to the diverse needs and abilities of K–12 students
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain accurate documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized physical therapy plans for students
- Provide direct physical therapy services both individually and in small group settings
- Collaborate closely with educational teams, contributing expertise at IEP meetings and offering practical classroom solutions
- Educate and support staff and families in strategies to enhance student mobility and participation
- Track student progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school policies
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
