Physical Therapist Assistant - Anoka, Minnesota

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Minnesota
• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Previous experience working with a pediatric or school-aged population preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to organize and manage a caseload across multiple classrooms or grade levels
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation requirements for school settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement physical therapy interventions for students with a variety of needs
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for appropriate accommodations or modifications
• Train and guide school staff and families on exercises, adaptive equipment, or strategies to support student mobility and participation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
• Advocate for student inclusion and access within school activities, fostering a positive and supportive environment
• Stay updated on best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
