Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Minnesota
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Previous experience working with a pediatric or school-aged population preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to organize and manage a caseload across multiple classrooms or grade levels
- Familiarity with IEP development and documentation requirements for school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement physical therapy interventions for students with a variety of needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for appropriate accommodations or modifications
- Train and guide school staff and families on exercises, adaptive equipment, or strategies to support student mobility and participation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Advocate for student inclusion and access within school activities, fostering a positive and supportive environment
- Stay updated on best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
