This contract position offers a consistent weekday schedule of 37.5 hours per week and runs from ASAP through late May 2027. All services are provided in-person, and the assignment includes remote supervision by a VOCO PT, making adaptability and professionalism key in your day-to-day interactions.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina PTA license required
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with children K-12 is highly desirable
- Proven ability to work independently while maintaining regular remote communication with supervising Physical Therapist
- Comfortable providing therapy under virtual supervision and following established treatment plans
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads across multiple school sites
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, direct physical therapy services to K-12 students according to IEP goals and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and supervising PT to maximize student success
- Document student progress, maintain accurate service records, and communicate updates to the supervising PT
- Stay flexible to travel between assigned school locations within the district
- Participate in team meetings as required, ensuring all interventions align with students’ needs
