Embark on an exciting opportunity as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a dynamic school setting near Boston, MA. This full-time, contract assignment begins in late August and spans 12 weeks, with potential to extend based on department needs. You'll support students’ mobility and participation through direct intervention and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assisting with evaluations and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Supporting students’ participation in classroom and school activities
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate daily documentation of interventions and progress
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and related services staff to enhance student success
  • Attending team and IEP meetings as required
  • Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment

This contracted role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule at 35 hours per week, allowing you to make a measurable impact on students’ lives while building valuable clinical and school-based experience.
