Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Massachusetts
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
- Background in healthcare or school-based physical therapy settings preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Reliable, organized, and flexible in a fast-paced school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of individualized physical therapy plans under the guidance of a licensed PT
- Engage students in therapeutic activities targeting mobility, strength, and functional independence within the school setting
- Monitor progress and maintain comprehensive documentation on student outcomes
- Communicate observations and recommendations to therapy, educational, and administrative teams
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the broader school community’s success
